IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is a very interesting and multi-faceted test.

IELTS includes four sections, namely Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.
Each of the above-mentioned parts of the test has its own singular features.
There exist two modules of the test: IELTS Academic and IELTS General. They differ in Reading and Writing, while Listening and Speaking sections are the same for both modules. The majority of test-takers pass IELTS Academic as it is more often required by colleges and universities worldwide, and sometimes by immigration authorities as well.
